SUMMARY:Shelter Missions International 2021 Visitation Outreach - Nigeria
DESCRIPTION:Shelter Missions welcomes you to her 2021 visitation in Nigeria. Yes\, even in the midst of COVID-19 global crisis our team of volunteers were still able to show the love of Jesus to others. The thing I love about our volunteers is that they put the care and needs of others ahead of theirs. When they were looking for help\, they offered help to others. \nIn 2021\, we visited four different cities and three states. I agree it does not sound like a lot\, but that was how far our resources can take us. Thank you so much for our tireless donors who made it possible

SUMMARY:Kakata Central Prison Second Visit
DESCRIPTION:Kakata Central Prison Second Visit\nDuring our June 2019 visit to the Kakata Central Prison\, we had promised to revisit the inmates because the items we went with last time were not enough for all the inmates. We had kept our promise of second visit\, by the grace of God we went back on July 3rd 2019. Report from the field says it was a great testimony and successful. The inmates were glad to see our representatives again with enough gifts for everyone. \nWith a grateful heart to God\, we at Shelter Missions International were honored for the privilege to be an encourager once more to the inmates at #Kakata Central Prison in Liberia. The team went with the toothbrushes\, toothpastes\, and personal essentials. \n\nA special thanks to all our Liberian supporters and representatives Pastor Petters Etietop of Champions Tabernacle in Sinkor-Fiamah\, Monrovia\, Farma Holmes(professor)\, Kings Asukwo\, Armah Pear (shairman)\, Richard\, and many others who supported the visit through prayers. God bless you. I pray\, that God will send you helpers in times of need in Jesus names. \nAs you have done this\, the Lord will deliver you from trouble; he will preserve you; he will keep you\, he will not deliver you to the will of your enemies\, he will bless you…… Psalms 41:1-2 \nThose who could not join the visitation this time\, prepare for next visit as we have been granted extended visit permits. \nIn case you are wondering why inmates? I know some of us have painful or bitter personal experiences with inmates\, but we have to also remember them in our prayers that God will touch theirs hearts even as they are serving their prison terms. Jesus came to die for all sinners regardless of your status of freedom. \nEven though\, you are not a physical prisoner\, some of us are spiritual prisoner of sin. Of which we need a savior. In conclusion\, as children of the Most High God\, we are expected to show love and care to all.

SUMMARY:Shelter Missions 2019 Outreach
DESCRIPTION:Shelter Missions 2019 Outreach\nShelter Mission International held her first outreach program for the year in Liberia. It was successful. We were blessed to work with the Senior Pastor and members of Champions Tabernacle at Weasay Junction\, Matadi Road\, Fiamah-Sinkor\, Monrovia\, Liberia. \nOur first visit was to Josikan International Academy\, Weasay Junction\, Sinkor\, Monrovia Liberia. We were welcomed by the pupils of the school with a good rendition of songs\, cultural dances\, etc. We met with the Principal of the school\, Pastor Mrs. Josephine Etietop\, and the staffs. We met with the students of There is Hope Foundation. These are students who have lost either one or both parents within the Sinkor community. We presented some gift items such as crayons\, pencils\, slippers\, pens\, biscuits\, etc. More will be said about this in the Causes section for There is Hope Foundation school supplies drive. \nOur next stop was Mother Victoria Thomas Orphanage within the Sinkor region. We had an interactive session with Mother Victoria the head of the orphanage as well as the children\, we also had a photoshoot with them. We gave out some items such as toiletries\, slippers\, pens\, biscuits\, etc. Details about  additional needs of these children and how we can adopt them will be discussed here. \nWe rounded up our outreach with a visit to Kakata Central Prison which was three hours drive from Monrovia. The prison wardens gave us a warm welcome. We were granted supervised permission to speak with the inmates. It was a great opportunity for us to share the good news of our Lord Jesus Christ to them which they accepted gladly. \nGifts like toothbrushes\, biscuits\, and bathing soaps were presented to the inmates. However\, it was not enough for the inmate population. But we made a promise to revisit with enough supplies to cover the entire population of more than 160 inmates. However\, taking pictures inside the premises or with the inmates was prohibited. \nWe concluded our outreach with an outdoor program tagged “Come Let’s Praise the Lord”. It was a two-days live program that took place on the 7th and 8th of June 2019. The power of God was so present to save\, heal\, and deliver through the word ministration by His anointed ministers. \nA big thank you to our Liberia team of volunteers and Pastor Petters Etietop and his wife Pastor Mrs. Josephine Etietop \nFollow us on Facebook
