Kakata Central Prison Second Visit

During our June 2019 visit to the Kakata Central Prison, we had promised to revisit the inmates because the items we went with last time were not enough for all the inmates. We had kept our promise of second visit, by the grace of God we went back on July 3rd 2019. Report from the field says it was a great testimony and successful. The inmates were glad to see our representatives again with enough gifts for everyone.

With a grateful heart to God, we at Shelter Missions International were honored for the privilege to be an encourager once more to the inmates at #Kakata Central Prison in Liberia. The team went with the toothbrushes, toothpastes, and personal essentials.

A special thanks to all our Liberian supporters and representatives Pastor Petters Etietop of Champions Tabernacle in Sinkor-Fiamah, Monrovia, Farma Holmes(professor), Kings Asukwo, Armah Pear (shairman), Richard, and many others who supported the visit through prayers. God bless you. I pray, that God will send you helpers in times of need in Jesus names.

As you have done this, the Lord will deliver you from trouble; he will preserve you; he will keep you, he will not deliver you to the will of your enemies, he will bless you…… Psalms 41:1-2

Those who could not join the visitation this time, prepare for next visit as we have been granted extended visit permits.

In case you are wondering why inmates? I know some of us have painful or bitter personal experiences with inmates, but we have to also remember them in our prayers that God will touch theirs hearts even as they are serving their prison terms. Jesus came to die for all sinners regardless of your status of freedom.

Even though, you are not a physical prisoner, some of us are spiritual prisoner of sin. Of which we need a savior. In conclusion, as children of the Most High God, we are expected to show love and care to all.
